Polder is a space that did not exist at first.
In the Netherlands, the polder is both territory and gesture — an act of balance between nature and human activity. It is not given; it is built. This body of work takes Polder as an inner landscape. The images were made in a place that became a refuge — a space where I could slow down, breathe, and exist without tension. nothing overwhelms, everything ease the mind.
Polder is not about escape.
It is about building a place where you can stay.
